Lux Fitness and Dance Studio has been my favourite workout place ever since I attended my first class six weeks ago. The studio is bright, spacious, and clean, with convenient and easy parking. There is a wide variety of classes available to suit different fitness levels. So far, I’ve attended barre, gentle motion, and body balance classes, all of which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. The instructors (Laura, Jane) are passionate, patient, and provide clear, step-by-step guidance throughout each session. So glad I finally found a studio that offers such a great variety of fitness and dance classes. I’ve done Barre, mat Pilates, Zumba, body balance and tried contemporary dance and hip hop for the first time. After a couple of Zumba and dance classes, my stiff body has already loosened up. I loved every bit of the sweat and fun! The instructors are all professional, friendly, and very welcoming. Such a great Restorative Pilates class! Lauren demonstrates and explains everything that you need to do and gives options of varying difficulty so you can choose what level suits your body. I'm so absolutely happy to have found Lux Studio. It's been a month now since I started at the studio, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The space is warm and welcoming, and the range of different class styles really drew me in. Laura has a fantastic energy and is a wonderful instructor. Usually wouldn’t write a review, however I was very unhappy with my experience here. The music was too loud and I could hardly hear the instructor. There was a strange musky smell in the building and the staff were very unfriendly. Music choices were very outdated ( not a big fan of ed Sheeran). The dance studio near by is far better.
